Flexible classes, ongoing support.
It can feel overwhelming to make art in front of others. Inspiration is fleeting and we can feel a bit lost. Don’t worry, we are all finding our way together, with as much or as little encouragement as you are comfortable with. This approach helps you to make work that is truly your own. No solvent/oil based products please.

Testimonials
Gwyn.
“Thank you for everything you have done for me…the portraits, collage, sizing up, tips and techniques, how to mix flesh colours, shadows and highlights, developing a style, ‘how to polish a turd’, and much more! Oh, and the three minute sketches. Thank you for your concern, hard work and encouragement. Oh, and the wonderful art appreciation sessions. You are a very special person.”
Jill.
“I have enjoyed the art sessions with Nita who is an enthusiastic teacher, and a talented artist in her own right. It’s a small group in a lovely venue and we have been taught many different techniques and approaches during the course, using a range of materials supplied by Nita. I started as a beginner, rather afraid of art but nature is very good at allying fears, building confidence and inspiring some amazing work I would recommend her art classes to anyone who wants to explore and develop their practice or just dip their toe in and sit and just see what happens.”
Luke.
“Although my artistic aptitude markedly lacked finesse, I regard your tuition as a valuable experience. In very dark periods, it encouraged me to leave the house, to mix with people and to learn new skills within a subject I remain very interested in. Thank you for simply being you. It was easy for me- a notorious misanthrope- to warmed you very much and found common ground. I never felt uncomfortable in your company, and that was refreshing for me.”
Georgina.
“I highly recommend Nita’s art classes, a very talented artist whose teaching style is very inclusive and relaxed. A broad range of skills are covered and Nita gets everyone starting their own work quickly. Joining the group is one of the best things I’ve done in years.”
Sharon.
“Very varied, well instructed, informative enjoyable course led by Nita. A very accomplished artist with a friendly approachable manner, will definitely recommend, and look forward to future courses”
Elaine.
“The art sessions have built on my knowledge and introduced me to many new techniques and materials. Nita is friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, allowing every individual to develop their skills and interests with help and encouragement. The things Nita has taught will last a lifetime, and I am looking forward to learning more I hope needs sessions continue forever!”
